Made in Town is a consulting agency that advises institutions, federations, local authorities and actors in the creative industries in their strategies towards the economic and heritage development of know-how and territories.
Together with the publisher Falbalas, a publishing house dedicated to the fashion industry, they decided to produce the book "The language of the Leavers Lace", then we got commissioned to make all the photographs.
This book acts as a testimony of what is one of last region worldwide to produce a Leavers lace in the way it was produced at the 18th century.
All pictures were shot in the north of France between the cities of Caudry and Calais, also known as the land of the welsch.
